Doug Hobbs is one of the leading lights on the hairdressing scene. His activities also include work for television, music videos, radio, editorial commissions and an extensive array of seminars worldwide.
What are your greatest Hairdressing achievements? Travelling the world doing hair seminars, having a salon with happy, professional staff and creating the Hobbs Show

Who would you invite to your dream dinner party? Mary Quant, Frances Ford Coppola, Tommy Cooper, Marilyn Monroe, Vivienne Westwood and Vidal Sassoon
What would be your last meal? Prosecco to begin, followed by Italian appertieves. Steak florentine, blue, as a main course with a very good Italian red wine. Italian ice cream for dessert, followed by Grapa.


Neil Marshall – Salon Manager
Having joined the team in 2004 Neil has become a very loyal and talented member of the team. Neil has an image all of his own and graduated through the ranks to be an intuitive hairdresser with great client relationships.

Mel Newland – Artistic & Technical Director
Mel has been at the salon since 2002 and after a brief absence to have her children Mason and Kieran, she’s back and better than ever. Mel works Tuesdays and alternate Saturdays.
What’s your greatest Hairdressing Achievement? Working at London Fashion Week and being part of the artistic team, stage work and teaching.
Who do you admire? My sister and Pink
What is your guilty pleasure? Chocolate, being too loud and evil thoughts!

Gemma – Senior Stylist
Gemma joined the Hobbs team in November 2011 and has developed into one of the most popular stylists at Hobbs. She has a great rapport with clients and a talent for creating both classic and contemporary cuts.

Corinna Christie – Senior Stylist
Corinna has been at the salon since 2001 and is an integral part of Hobbs. She is an artistic and talented member of the team and has a relaxed way with our fabulous clients. Corinna is available on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Rosie – Personal Assistant
