The lovely people at Garment Quarter share some of what’s hot in fashion for this Autumn;
Hippy grunge, polo necks, luxury track suits and checks – these are just some of the fashion trends to look out for in the autumn/winter season.
Bristol’s own Garment Quarter is predicting some bold styles will make a return between now and the spring with men’s fashion focussing on the 1970’s and women’s being inspired by the eighties.
“We’ll be moving away from straight lines for starters, with irregular hemlines and ruffles set to be strong features of the autumn/winter look. It seems polo necks will be moving from the ski slopes to the high street and being matched with all types of outfits.
“From necks to check – the pattern which ruled the 1970s will be back while another trend from that decade, flares, will make a welcome return. Perhaps the boldest trend as we count down to 2017 will be luxury tracksuits with bright, shiny jackets that will sparkle amid the winter gloom.”
Throwing in the possibility of the arrival of unisex mixing and matching in the shops and it’s clear the only thing that will be dull this autumn and winter will be the weather. Why not come into Hobbs and get the hair style to complete the look?
